Welcome!
I'm a professor for software engineering
and real-time systems at the University of Applied Sciences, Luebeck.
This site presents my past and current professional activities in
computer science. Moverover, it is a playground for me to experiment with
web technologies.
I worked for industry and academic institutions for 13 years before joining the FH Luebeck in August 2006 (see my bio for details). My experiences and interests include software engineering, embedded real-time systems, web technologies, and databases. I teach several courses on these subjects.
If you are interested in requirements engineering, product family engineering, or empirical
software engineering, have a look at my publications. I have
written more than 40 articles for
books, journals,
conferences, and workshops and I gave various
talks. Also, let me point you to the REFSQ
(Requirements Engineering: Foundation of Software Quality) workshop; I was program co-chair
of the REFSQ workshop series for several years.
I received a Ph.D in computer science from the University of Kaiserslautern and a M.S. degree (Diploma) in computer science from the Technical University of Berlin, Germany.
